| This
can be a great craft to use during Easter, since its involves
an Easter egg, but can also be a great craft for fans of fish. |
| Step
1: The first step that you will need to do is cut
out the tail of the fish. At first glance the picture looks
like a triangle for the fish fin but it is actually a triangle
with a tiny strip at the tip. This strip will be inserted
into the hole at the top of the Easter egg. Holes are common
to find but can also be made. |
|
| If
the Easter egg that you are using does not have such a hole
you can use a push pin or finishing nail to make one. |
| Step
2: Once your Easter egg has a hole, if it did not originally
come with one you can insert the strip. This might be difficult
for your child but they will be able to place the piece of tape
that goes over it. This will keep the fin in place. If you are
not able to have an egg with a hole this is not a problem. |
|
| Your
child can just tape the fin on the outside. This will not look
as though it is part of the egg as much but still works very
well. |

3: With the fin in place you just need to glue the
eyes on to the egg. If you do not have googly eyes you can
simply use a marker and draw on the eyes as well as the draw
any other details, such as side fins and a smile. This particular
egg had designs so if you are using a plain egg your child
can color it, to make an exotic fish. |
